World Cooking events are held at LICC to deepen international understanding and introduce cooking styles from a variety of countries. This time a member of the LICC staff from the Philippines will give an introductory course on preparing the popular pancit (fried noodles) and lumpia (spring roll).
How is cuisine in Japan different from other Asian countries? Why not challenge yourself to try Filipino cooking while communicating in English. We are looking forward to having many applicants.

LICC de Japan is an event hosted in order to introduce Japanese culture and traditions to foreign residents. This time we will be holding a tour to the Hatcho Miso factory whose storeroom also became a stage for the NHK’s serialized TV novelJunjo Kirari. This is a great opportunity to learn about Japanese food culture around miso, so please invite your friends and come along. There will be translators available for English, Portuguese, and Chinese on the day of the event.
